Ahead of its September 16 launch, Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration has presented 15 newly showcased card artworks as a journey through bright daytime and nighttime scenes. The official feature displays seven daytime images and eight nighttime images; 15 is the size of this showcase, not the expansion’s total number of illustration rares.
A bright day with five familiar faces
The daytime selection opens with Sylveon and Fuecoco enjoying the daylight. Alolan Exeggutor, Morpeko, and Salamence ex also receive the spotlight, giving the illustration rare and special illustration rare artwork a varied set of sunny settings.
Dancing Pokémon and a legendary trio after dark
Gholdengo, Scraggy, and Jirachi ex lead the nighttime group. Toxtricity and Greninja bring movement to the evening with a dance scene, while Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres return together as a trio.
