The Welcome to the N.H.K. 25th Anniversary Nakahara Misaki POP UP SHOP brings illustrations from the original novel and manga adaptation to new merchandise. It runs October 17–29, 2026, at MEDICOS SHOP Shinjuku, on the second floor of Shinjuku Marui Annex.

Bookmark bonuses and the October 17 entry lottery
Canvas art and acrylic stands are among the new goods using the novel and manga illustrations.
For every ¥1,000 spent on related Welcome to the N.H.K. goods, including tax, shoppers receive one random bookmark-style bonus card. There are four designs, with no choice of artwork, and the bonus ends when supplies run out.
In-store purchases are limited to five of each item type per person, per checkout, or five BOXes for boxed products. For random-design singles, the limit is five times the number of variants. These limits may change or be lifted.
Opening day, October 17, uses a shuffled admission lottery rather than first-come entry. Arriving before ticket distribution gives no advantage, and visitors are asked not to wait at other facilities beforehand.
- Tickets are distributed from 10:30 to 10:40 a.m. JST outside MEDICOS SHOP Shinjuku.
- The entry order is announced around 11 a.m. JST on Medicos’ official X account, with the first entry slot scheduled for 11:15 a.m. JST.
- Each ticket is valid for one entry and one checkout. The official guide says the ticket guarantees admission, but not the availability of the goods you want. However, admission may still be refused depending on conditions on the day. Tickets are collected at checkout; collecting multiple tickets can lead to refusal of entry.
- You cannot collect a ticket for an absent companion, and companions cannot join you after you have lined up.
Walk-in entry may begin once ticketed admission is complete, but further tickets or restrictions remain possible. Admission limits may also apply on other days, and entry times can change.
The shop also asks visitors not to come in cosplay or clothing it considers cosplay; such outfits may lead to refusal of entry.
Online orders open after the pop-up closes
The goods sold at the pop-up will be available through MEDICOS ONLINE SHOP from noon JST on October 30 through November 17, 2026. The online sale also offers bookmark-style purchase bonuses.
- Random-design goods are sold by BOX only, with no individual units. Each BOX contains every variant of that product.
- This is a made-to-order sale, not a quantity-limited, first-come sale. Orders placed during the order period will be fulfilled.
