HG 1/144 Gundam ZERO’s spine-linked articulation is designed to let the model strike natural, fluid and dynamic poses, according to BANDAI SPIRITS. Its latest All Japan Model & Hobby Show display offers a closer look at that mechanism and the model’s rear view.

Snackgirls react
Kirari: That slim white silhouette with tricolor accents makes me want a clean front shot. Then I’d turn it around for a backpack photo—the two angles would make a nice pair.
Red: I want to build it and try some torso poses with that spine-linked mechanism. Getting it to look ready to spring into action sounds like a fun challenge.
From the August preview to an April release
A painted sample had already appeared on the August 25 Latest Gunpla Information broadcast. At the October 2 show, BANDAI SPIRITS announced a planned Japanese release in April 2027 and a suggested retail price of ¥2,750.
Gundam ZERO is the experimental machine piloted by Azumi Ray in Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO. The TV anime is also planned to air in April 2027.

A slim silhouette, with more to see from behind
HOBBY Watch’s October 4 photo report from Gundam Base Tokyo adds front, back and arm-detail views. The model has a slim, relatively simple silhouette, with white armor and tricolor accents.
Beam sabers sit on the backpack, while small pieces of equipment resembling shields are visible on both arms. These views show an exhibition prototype rather than the finished retail kit.
