Fighting Avengers
PlayStation Blog said the third team for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls was revealed at EVO Japan 2026 on May 2, 2026. The announcement was posted under Arc System Works producer Takeshi Yamanaka and introduced Hulk and Black Panther through a new team reveal trailer.
Team Setup
Fighting Avengers brings Hulk and Black Panther together with the previously shown Captain America and Iron Man. The official setup frames Captain America’s new Avengers squad as a team facing a new threat to Earth, with Episode Mode expected to show how they take on that challenge.
Hulk Style
Hulk is presented as a power character built around rage and overwhelming force. In the game’s story, his strength and instability have led the government, S.H.I.E.L.D., and even his teammates to exile him to the Savage Land. In battle, he pressures opponents at every range, builds Gamma Gauge, and enters Gamma Rage when the gauge is full, gaining a major boost to power and speed.
Black Panther
This version of Black Panther is Shuri, ruler of Wakanda and a newly appointed successor to the mantle. Her style centers on quick movement and long-reaching spear attacks. Spear of Bashenga supports mid-range control, while Bast’s Blessing spends a dedicated gauge for fast movement that can cancel from normal attacks and skills into pressure or combo routes.
Wakanda Stage
Wakanda was also shown as a new stage. The official description positions it as an African nation where rich natural environments and advanced science coexist, making it the natural setting to pair with Black Panther’s reveal.
Champion Threat
The trailer also introduced The Champion, one of the Elders of the Universe who has existed since the birth of the cosmos. Together with his right-hand figure Promoter, he travels space in search of powerful opponents. The Challenge of the Champion is framed as a tournament where teams of four pass qualifiers to earn the right to face him.
