Snackgirls editor note
Kirari: The white cold-region color gives it a completely different first impression. Even as the same Garm Reaper, this is a striking variant for anyone who wants to change the mood of a display.
Red: The key point is that the preorder time is set first, while the price is still blank. If you are interested, the safer flow is to set a reminder now and decide after the price is revealed.
AIKO: The official blog explains the preorder start time, the new attachment, and the separately sold decal set and side cloak. The price and release date are also still undecided according to HOBBY Watch.
Kotobukiya has announced the preorder start for Megami Device Yggdrasis Garm Reaper Avalanche. According to the official blog, manufacturer preorder intake begins at 11:00 on July 14, 2026, and HOBBY Watch also reported the same time while noting that the release date and price are undecided.
Preorders begin at 11:00 on July 14
The action point in this news is clear. Kotobukiya’s Megami Development Room official blog states that manufacturer preorder intake for Garm Reaper Avalanche and the separately sold eye decal set will begin at 11:00 on July 14, 2026.
The release date and price have not yet been officially announced. So at this stage, rather than rushing into an automatic preorder, it is better to be ready to add up the main kit, decal set, and side cloak when the preorder page opens.
The cold-region colors and new bayonet attachment set it apart
Garm Reaper Avalanche is a variant based on the existing Yggdrasis Garm Reaper, dressed in a white-centered cold-region specification color scheme. It is the kind of release where the color difference stands out clearly when displayed next to the darker standard Garm Reaper.
The official blog explains that this is not just a simple recolor: it includes a new bayonet attachment that adds a dagger to the rifle. It also shows a silhouette that appears to form a gauntlet mode by combining the rear backpack, shield, and dagger.
The decal set and side cloak should be treated as separate options
In addition to the main kit, the official notice also mentions an eye decal set and the M.S.G Dress Up Parts Side Cloak White Ver. However, the decal set is not a product that completes the main body; it is a separate option that expands expressions, eye direction, and markings.
Readers planning to watch the preorder should first decide whether they are looking only at the main kit, or at the decals and cloak as a bundle as well. That is because, while the price remains unrevealed, the total cost with all options included has not yet been confirmed.
