Editor's note
Editor note: This VF-1S has a clear pre-order start date, and the main buying question is the included Super Pack plus the option to display it as a standard VF-1S. If you were already watching the VF-1J, compare the loadout first.
The key details are the September 1 pre-order start, 19,800 yen tax-included price, March 2027 release window, and the included Super Pack set.
Pre-orders open September 1
Tamashii Web has listed the Origin of Valkyrie VF-1S Valkyrie Roy Focker Special + Super Pack Set 45th Anniversary as a general retail item for Super Dimension Fortress Macross. Pre-orders begin September 1, 2026, and the release is scheduled for March 2027. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 19,800 yen including tax.
Removable Super Pack
The Super Pack can be attached in fighter mode and removed when a standard VF-1S display is preferred. The transformable release supports fighter, GERWALK and Battroid configurations, allowing the additional equipment to be used or set aside.

A thigh roll axis has been added to expand the range of GERWALK leg poses. The Origin of Valkyrie line also features an improved leg-locking design for fighter mode. The gunpod can fire the included missile, while the skull-mark canopy cover uses an exchangeable design.
