With four or more Pokémon that have the Hide ’n’ Sneak Ability in the discard pile, Dhelmise’s Vengeful Anchor adds 140 damage to its base 30 for a total of 170. In the official strategy article published on August 3, 2026, Natalie Millar presents turbo Dhelmise as one practical physical Pokémon TCG build adapted from Kabu Fukase’s Japan Championships list.
Sending the Hide ’n’ Sneak core to the discard pile
Banette and Sinistcha share the Hide ’n’ Sneak Ability. It protects those Pokémon from the effects of opposing Abilities and attacks, including damage-counter placement from Dragapult ex’s Phantom Dive, Munkidori’s Adrena-Brain, and Dusknoir’s Cursed Blast.
Puppet Pull serves as an early setup attack, while Gwynn and Prism Tower provide the main ways to discard Hide ’n’ Sneak Pokémon. Dudunsparce supports the deck’s draw-and-discard flow, and Telepathic Psychic Energy helps establish the board and its attackers. The author favors this four-card threshold instead of pursuing Spiritomb’s 13-card condition.
How the 60-card list supports the loop
The published list contains 23 Pokémon, 30 Trainer cards, and 7 Energy cards. Its main counts include four Banette, four Shuppet, four Dhelmise, two Sinistcha, four Dunsparce, and two Dudunsparce. Four Boss’s Orders, four Prism Tower, two Gwynn, and four Telepathic Psychic Energy support target selection, discarding, and continued attacks.
The tradeoff behind repeated 170-damage attacks
Repeated Vengeful Anchor attacks will often need two hits to score a Knock Out, which is why the list includes four Boss’s Orders to control which opposing Pokémon Dhelmise attacks. Lillie’s Clefairy ex can help Dhelmise take a one-hit Knock Out on Dragapult ex through Fairy Zone, while Black Belt’s Training raises the attack to 210 against selected targets. Flutter Mane is included as an answer to Festival Lead’s second attack.
