Mega Lucario ex: 130 Damage and Up to Three Energy Back to the Bench

SNACK in 3 lines

  • Aura Jab: 130 damage and up to three Basic Fighting Energy attached from the discard pile
  • Lunar Cycle: discard one Basic Fighting Energy to draw three cards
  • 60-card list: 14 Pokémon, 33 Trainer cards, and 13 Energy

Snackgirls react

Red — I want to discard one Fighting Energy with Lunar Cycle, draw three, then watch Aura Jab send up to three Energy back onto the Bench.

Nea — A prepared Mega Lucario ex is tempting, but exposing a three-Prize Pokémon makes the timing of that attack the decision I would dwell on.

Mega Lucario ex has 340 HP, and Aura Jab deals 130 damage while attaching up to three Basic Fighting Energy from the discard pile to Benched Pokémon in any distribution. Those attachments can prepare another Mega Lucario ex for a later Mega Brave or fully power Hariyama’s 210-damage attack with one Aura Jab.

Discard an Energy, then recover it on the attack

Lunatone’s Lunar Cycle can be used once per turn while Solrock is in play. It discards one Basic Fighting Energy from the hand to draw three cards, improving the hand while placing an Energy where Aura Jab can retrieve it.

The opening plan is to assemble Solrock and Lunatone, then lead with either Solrock or Mega Lucario ex according to the matchup. Aura Jab provides the bridge from that opening attack to a prepared Mega Lucario ex or Hariyama on the Bench.

Choosing when to risk three Prize cards

A Knocked Out Mega Evolution Pokémon ex gives up three Prize cards. The list mixes Mega Lucario ex with single-Prize Solrock and Hariyama so the opponent cannot rely on Knocking Out two Mega Lucario ex to win. That changes which attacker can be exposed at each stage, though it does not guarantee a favorable Prize trade.

A 60-card list built around the attack rhythm

The official list contains 14 Pokémon, 33 Trainer cards, and 13 Energy. Its Pokémon counts are three Mega Lucario ex, three Riolu, and two each of Lunatone, Solrock, Hariyama, and Makuhita. The Energy line consists of 10 Basic Fighting Energy and three Rocky Fighting Energy.

Four copies of Premium Power Pro provide another damage option. One copy increases a Fighting-type Pokémon’s attack damage by 30 for the turn, so Mega Brave reaches 300 only when the Item is played and its effect applies. Mega Brave normally deals 270, and the Mega Lucario ex that uses it cannot use Mega Brave during its next turn.

Natalie Millar’s list, published by The Pokémon Company’s official English strategy site on May 11, 2026, is one practical build for the post-rotation format rather than the only correct list. Card availability, localized names, and tournament legality can vary by region and event, so the English list should be compared with the relevant official card database and current event rules.
