Google Search now puts live professional American-football action and advice based on a linked fantasy roster inside the same mobile search experience. Live Game Feed and Yahoo Fantasy or Sleeper linking are currently limited to U.S. English, while the matchup carousel and expanded stats are available globally on mobile. Google has not announced the first two features for Korea or Japan.
A live game screen built around the next play
Search for an ongoing professional football game and select the red Live indicator to open Live Game Feed. The screen combines a game recap, a dynamic play-by-play timeline, selected social commentary, key video highlights and AI-powered insights, reducing the need to jump between separate views as the game unfolds.
Other scores and deeper stats without another search
A new matchup carousel lets mobile users check scores from other games in the league without starting separate searches. Search is also rolling out league-leader views for categories such as passing touchdowns and rushing yards, along with player metrics including sacks, fumbles and yards after catch.
The carousel and expanded stats are globally available on mobile. Championship-favorite information and playoff brackets are coming soon rather than being universally available today.
AI Mode can work from a roster you choose to link
In AI Mode, users can choose to link a Yahoo Fantasy or Sleeper account and ask questions based on their current roster and leagues. Examples include start-or-sit choices, waiver-wire targets, draft-pick assessments and weekly recaps. Google describes the connection as secure and user-initiated.
The recommendations are AI-generated assistance, not guaranteed sports outcomes, and Google provides no accuracy rate.
