Red: A Support Hero using lifeforce and bat-like drones sounds built for aggressive plays. I would use the trial to see how close to the fight he can stay.
Kirari: Doctrine's vampire styling has my attention, but Grímsvötn may offer the stronger visual moment. I want to see how that setting frames an Escort match.
Overwatch players have only a short window to try Doctrine, the vampire-inspired Support Hero allied with Doomfist. His Hero Trial runs through September 14, ahead of his official arrival with Season 5 on October 6, 2026; that season also moves Sombra from Damage to Support.
Lifeforce, drones, and a shifting roster
Doctrine manipulates lifeforce through a scepter, infusions, and bat-like drones. Season 5 also brings a major Roadhog rework and the Watchpoint: Grímsvötn Escort map while concluding The Reign of Talon, Overwatch’s first year-long story arc.
The Mythic Voucher has firm limits
Playing one match after the Opening Ceremony awards one Mythic Voucher. It can be redeemed through October 5 for one eligible complete Mythic bundle from Seasons 1–14; Aspects are excluded, and accounts that already own every eligible base skin receive 50 Mythic Prisms instead.
