Snackgirls react
Kirari: Forty-nine idols building toward one concert could put sixteen different unit colors on the same stage. That’s the moment I want to see.
Nea: Keeping the current brand-story setting while giving every idol a new goal is what hooks me. I want to see where the units’ paths intersect.

The Idolmaster SideM is heading to home consoles for the first time with its entire 49-idol lineup. The new project follows all 49 idols across 16 units as they pursue individual goals and prepare for a major concert scheduled one year later in the story.
A year of producing 315 Production
Described as an idol production and scheduling adventure game, the project places players in the producer role at 315 Production. It retains the setting used by the current The Idolmaster Portal SideM brand stories while adding a completely new story made for this game.
The announcement promises home-console-scale story volume. Details of the underlying gameplay loop have not yet been disclosed.
Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch are confirmed
The game is in development for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Its formal title and release timing will be announced later.
The first announcement video is ready to watch
The official Idolmaster YouTube channel published the special announcement after the SideM 11th anniversary live on September 13, 2026. The announcement video can be watched below.
