Red: That opened armor makes me want to trace every joint from the cockpit outward. I would spend ages rearranging the work arms around it.

AIKO: Around 2,500 parts and multiple lighting points: the maintenance crew has received a highly detailed workload.

The RX-178 Gundam Mk-II is standing with its armor opened and its inner machinery on full display. Photographed at TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO, the METAL STRUCTURE KAITAI-SHOU-KI sample turns the A.E.U.G. machine into a detailed maintenance-bay scene rather than hiding its frame beneath the familiar dark-blue-and-white armor.

The movable frame beneath the armor

Opening and removing the exterior panels exposes the Gundam Mk-II’s movable frame and spherical cockpit. The armor can be deployed for a partially opened look or removed to recreate the full-maintenance state, giving the internal structure a central role in the display.

Work arms, crew figures, and cockpit lights

The dedicated base, articulated work arms, and included mini figures build out the surrounding maintenance bay. Lighting is installed in the main camera, camera eyes, chest sensor, and cockpit interior, while the official configuration also includes lighting in the body and base. The model can additionally be arranged in a high-mobility combat mode.
