Heat Rotom ex puts discarded Fire Energy back to work in the latest look at Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign. This follow-up to the expansion announcement shows six English cards: Heat Rotom ex, Groudon, Kommo-o, Delibird, Zinnia’s Trust, and Eevee. Their card text offers several ways to find, move, or reuse Energy.

Red: Discarded Fire Energy gets one more job: hit hard, then jump back into the deck. I want to see how many times I can get that Heat Rotom ex loop going.
Nea: Zinnia’s Trust has my attention. I’d like to try choosing the next Active Pokémon around that one Energy it can bring along.
Heat Rotom ex spends its discard-pile fuel
Heat Rotom ex (023/103) has 190 HP. Its Rewarm attack does 30 damage for each Basic Fire Energy in your discard pile, then shuffles those Energy cards into your deck. That gives the attack a built-in trade-off: the Energy returns to circulation, but it no longer sits in the discard pile ready to power another Rewarm.
Strong Flare does 170 damage and discards two Energy from Heat Rotom ex. If those are Basic Fire Energy, they can contribute to a later Rewarm. How effectively a deck can keep that cycle going is a question for testing.
Attach Energy, find it, or carry it through a switch
Kommo-o (075/103) has 160 HP and an Ability that looks at the top six cards of your deck. You may attach any number of Basic Energy you find there to your Dragon Pokémon in any way you like, then shuffle the other cards back into the deck. Finding several Energy could help multiple Pokémon at once, though the result depends on those six cards.
Delibird (079/103) takes a different route. Its Energizing Present Ability works only while it is in the Active Spot: look at the top six cards of your deck, reveal an Energy card, and put it into your hand. The other cards are shuffled and placed on the bottom of the deck. Unlike Kommo-o’s Ability, this puts one Energy into your hand rather than attaching Basic Energy directly.
The Supporter Zinnia’s Trust (103/103) handles Energy already in play. It switches your Active Pokémon with a Benched Pokémon and, if that switch happens, moves an Energy from the Pokémon sent to the Bench to the new Active Pokémon. That could make a retreat from the front line feel less like starting over with an unpowered attacker.
Groudon’s Stadium condition and Eevee’s extra-numbered slot
Groudon (053/103) has a conditional damage boost: Brutal Lands does 100 damage, plus 170 more if a Stadium with “Legendary” in its name is in play. That wording is a requirement on the attack, not confirmation that a qualifying Stadium is already available or legal.
Eevee is numbered 114/103, placing it beyond the main set’s 103-card numbering. The number alone does not establish an official rarity label.
Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign launches November 6, 2026. Pokémon.com lists more than 135 cards, more than 20 Trainer cards, and more than 35 special illustration cards. The remaining reveals will help show what support these Energy effects have around them; for now, they offer interactions to explore rather than a settled deck ranking.
