The new METAL ROBOT Spirits set adds HWS armor and weapons to the separately sold Nu Gundam, then gives those parts a place to stand on their own. It is an optional accessory set, not another release of the figure.

Kirari: I’d want to see how the HWS pieces look arranged around the maintenance-deck display. That silhouette could be as fun to photograph as the equipped suit.
Red: I’m drawn to the heavy-weapon setup itself. I’d want to try fitting those HWS parts onto the Nu Gundam and see the whole loadout together.
A display for the heavy-weapon loadout
Alongside the HWS parts, the set includes joint parts and a display inspired by a maintenance deck. The display can hold HWS components as well as the standard beam rifle, new hyper bazooka, shield and fin funnels from the separately sold Nu Gundam. Those figure accessories are not all included in this set.
Preorders begin September 25
Premium Bandai reservations open September 25, 2026, at 4 p.m. JST/KST. The Japanese tax-inclusive price is ¥12,100, with shipping and other fees extra; shipment is scheduled for March 2027.
