Snackgirls react
Red: Taking a console save onto a handheld makes me want to squeeze in one more turn. I’d try that handoff first.
Nea: Habitat Restoration caught my attention. I’d like to see how raising monsters connects with the places they live.
Take your save onto a PC or handheld
Xbox Play Anywhere will extend that access to Windows 11 PCs and compatible handhelds. Save data, additional content and achievements will carry across supported devices, so you can continue from where you left off.
Stories 3 is a turn-based RPG centered on raising monsters, with Habitat Restoration among its features.
Try the earlier Stories games without Game Pass
To mark the series’ tenth anniversary on October 8, Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will offer three-hour timed trials from October 22 through 25. All Xbox players can take part without a Game Pass membership. These are limited trials, not permanent free copies.
If you want to try Stories 3 itself, a free trial is already available on Xbox Series X|S, with progress that can carry into the full game.
