Nintendo of America’s announcement video introduces the three-wave Expansion Pass for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave on Nintendo Switch 2. Prototype weapons are available in the US now, while the new stories arrive with the third wave in 2027.
Four heroes get weapons inspired by Three Houses
Wave 1 gives four heroes prototype weapons modeled after the Heroes’ Relics from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It is the first available part of the pass, with the remaining content scheduled across two later waves.
Snackgirls react
Red: I want to take those prototype weapons into battle and find one that clicks. The Three Houses connection already has my attention.
Nea: I’m more curious about Bertrand and the others. I hope their new stories give me a favorite character to read up on afterward.
Outfits and gods this holiday season, stories next year
Wave 2 is scheduled for the 2026 holiday season, adding wearable outfits and the gods Aurora, Smyrnos and Jurah.
Wave 3 follows in 2027 with stories featuring Bertrand, Talimun, Orchel and Anatolia, alongside new allies and classes.
One purchase covers all three waves
The Expansion Pass launched on the US Nintendo eShop on October 14. Gematsu reports a US price of $34.99 for the pass.
The waves cannot be bought individually, so players interested in the later stories will need the full pass. The base game is also required and is sold separately.
