A bold Haro face on green cloth, finished with tassels at the corners: STRICT-G’s new Mobile Suit Gundam collaboration with Asakusa textile brand Ponpindo brings the little robot to a traditional cushion. The Japanese stencil-dyed collection also includes two sizes of pouch, with online preorders announced ahead of a separate in-store release.

Snackgirls react
Kirari: I’d love to style a room photo around that green Haro cushion. Those corner tassels deserve a little space around them in the frame!
Nea: I’d like to compare the Gundam and Char’s Zaku II motifs side by side. I’m curious which head shapes and colors make each one recognizable in such a simple textile design.
Three familiar faces in small, boxed pouches
The mamori pouch comes in Gundam, Char’s Zaku II and Haro designs, each priced at ¥4,400. Intended for treasured small belongings, the pouch measures 13.7 cm high by 10 cm wide.
Each comes in a paulownia presentation box measuring 17 × 11.5 × 2.2 cm—part of the small pouch’s packaging, not a separate gift set.

The same motifs, with more room inside
The larger gassai drawstring pouch carries the same three motifs and costs ¥6,600 each. At 25.5 cm high by 18 cm wide, it can be carried on its own or used as an inner pouch inside another bag.
Both pouch sizes use cotton outer fabric, polyester linings and rayon cords.

A Haro cushion with silk corner tassels
The Haro cushion is priced at ¥11,000 and measures 36 cm high by 32 cm wide, with an 11 cm thickness. Its green fabric body gives Haro’s stylized face a broad surface, framed by tassels at the corners.
Bandai describes it as a craftsman-made Edo-style cushion. Both the outer fabric and filling are 100% cotton, while the tassel thread is 100% silk.

Online preorders and store sales follow different schedules
The announced Premium Bandai preorder window runs from October 16, 2026, at 13:00 through November 1 at 23:00 JST, with shipping planned for November 2026. Orders may close before the deadline if the allocated quantity is reached.
In-store sales are scheduled to begin October 24 at four STRICT-G branches: Tokyo Odaiba at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, Tokyo Solamachi, NEOPASA Shizuoka on the downbound side, and Taga SA on the downbound side.
Store stock varies, and items may be sold out by the time of a visit. The photos show development samples, so finished products may differ; specifications are also subject to change. All listed prices include Japanese tax, with shipping and handling charged separately.
