Magical Girl Witch Trials Gets a Gothic Sailor Makeover for GiGO

Black frills, sailor-inspired outfits and colored ribbons set the look for the upcoming Magical Girl Witch Trials × GiGO POP UP STORE. Opening first at GiGO Akihabara 5 on October 24, 2026, the pop-up pairs its Gothic Sailor goods with a darkly comic extra: venue-exclusive “Great Misfortune” fortune slips.

Dark Frills With a Flash of Color

The original Gothic Sailor illustrations dress eight characters in dark, frilled outfits with pink, blue, teal and other ribbon accents. Their acrylic stands come in eight designs, each up to 150 mm tall, at ¥1,650 apiece including tax.

The foil-stamped cards feature close-up and full-body artwork across 16 designs. A random two-card pack costs ¥550 including tax, and individual designs cannot be selected. The same eight-character lineup also appears on B2 half tapestries.

A “Great Misfortune” Souvenir, Plus a Store Bonus

The venue-exclusive “Great Misfortune” omikuji puts a darkly comic spin on the traditional fortune slip, with 13 designs priced at ¥200 each including tax.

For every ¥2,000 spent including tax in a single in-store transaction, shoppers receive one random card sleeve from eight designs. The sleeves feature window and name graphics.

You cannot choose the bonus design or combine receipts, and the sleeves are available only while supplies last.

Four City Stops, With Advance Lotteries at Akihabara

The four venues have the following 2026 schedules:

• Tokyo — GiGO Akihabara 5: October 24–November 8
• Osaka — GiGO Osaka Dotonbori Main Store: November 7–22
• Fukuoka — GiGO Fukuoka Tenjin: November 14–24
• Sendai — GiGO Sendai: November 14–24

At GiGO Akihabara 5, entry from 10:00 to 13:00 on both October 24 and October 25 is allocated by advance lottery through the GiGO app. The application deadline is October 22 at 23:59 for October 24 entry, and October 23 at 23:59 for October 25 entry. All times are Japan Standard Time.

Other time slots are not guaranteed to have unrestricted admission: numbered tickets or staff-managed entry may still apply. Free-entry details will be announced on GiGO Akihabara 5’s official X account.

Osaka may also control admission on its opening day, November 7. Fukuoka and Sendai may restrict entry when busy.

Online Preorders Start October 26, With Desk Mats of Their Own

COCOLLABO’s online preorders are scheduled to run from October 26, 2026, at 12:00 to December 4 at 13:00, Japan Standard Time. Dispatch is expected in mid-to-late February 2027.

The Gothic Sailor desk mats are online-preorder-only items, with A and B designs measuring approximately W300 × H600 mm. Each costs ¥2,750 including tax.

Online orders do not include the in-store card-sleeve bonus, and venue-exclusive goods—including the “Great Misfortune” omikuji—will not be offered online. Some items may close for preorder before the deadline if their quantity limit is reached.
