Snackgirls react
Kirari: I’d want a photo of all three decks side by side—their headliners have such different looks. Then I’d have to pick which one to try first.
Nea: I’d keep the player guides beside me and try the decks in turn. I’m curious which game plan I’d grow attached to.
Three Mega Evolution ex stars with different game plans
Mega Feraligatr ex rewards setting up damage first: its attack can deal a total of 400 damage if the opposing Active Pokémon already has damage counters on it.
Mega Dragonite ex can switch your Active Pokémon with a Benched Pokémon once during your turn. It also has an attack that deals 330 damage by discarding two Energy.
Mega Gengar ex changes the Prize exchange. When one of your Darkness Pokémon is Knocked Out by attack damage from an opposing Pokémon ex, its Ability makes your opponent take one fewer Prize card.
Two copies of each headliner, plus guides and play accessories
Each deck contains two copies of its own featured Mega Evolution ex card. The decks include repeated cards, and some cards have appeared in earlier releases or distributions.
Alongside the decks are three paper deck cases, three Pokémon coins, one damage-counter/marker sheet and one playmat. A rulebook, three player guides and one card box round out the set, with the guides explaining how to use the decks.
Japan release on November 13 for ¥5,500
The Japanese-language physical card set is scheduled for release in Japan on Friday, November 13, 2026. Its suggested retail price is ¥5,500 including tax for the box containing all three decks and the listed accessories.
