SNACK: 3-line summary
- The original English Tropical Beach BW28 offers an optional hand refill that ends your turn.
- You draw until you have seven cards in hand—not seven additional cards.
- Both players may use the effect once during their own turns while the Stadium is in play.
Use the original English Tropical Beach BW28’s optional draw effect, and your turn ends on the spot. This 2011 Black & White promo pairs that firm stopping point with a sunny beach illustration by Naoki Saito.

Snackgirls react
Kirari: I want to linger over those surfboards and that beach chair. That turn-ending line is a pretty abrupt end to the holiday!
Nea: I’d be watching my opponent’s hand, too. I’m curious how often their chance to refill would make me hesitate to put this Stadium into play.
Seven in hand, not seven more
This Pokémon TCG Trainer–Stadium lets you draw until you have seven cards in your hand. You keep the cards you already hold and draw toward that total; you do not discard your hand or draw seven additional cards. Taking the refill ends your turn, so you cannot draw and then continue attacking.
Your opponent gets the same choice
While Tropical Beach is in play, each player may use its effect once during their own turn. The refill is optional, and simply playing the Stadium does not end your turn. You can put it into play without taking the draw effect—but your opponent will have that option on their turn, too.
