Madoka Magica’s magical girls appear on real postage stamps, while its witches get a date stamp and letter set of their own. The seven-item collection celebrating Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Walpurgisnacht: Rising- went on sale at Japan Post Online Shop on October 23, 2026.

Snackgirls react
Kirari: Those scalloped edges and colored frames make the keyholders look like tiny character stamps. I’d love to hang Madoka and Homura side by side.
Nea: Set B’s Rebellion artwork has my attention. I’d like to set it beside the TV-series selection in A and take my time with the differences.
Two stamp sets follow different parts of the series
Frame Stamp Set A focuses on the TV anime and compilation films, while Set B features Rebellion and Walpurgisnacht: Rising. Each costs ¥4,950 and contains one sheet of five postage stamps, an A4 illustrated backing sheet and two acrylic stand stamps.
The artwork gives the sets distinct looks: A places a large ensemble illustration above the portrait stamps, while B divides the upper artwork into two compositions.
A ¥16,500 complete set combines A and B with a metal plate featuring the Walpurgisnacht: Rising key visual.

A random keyholder or all nine characters
The acrylic keyholders borrow the scalloped outline of a postage stamp, with character portraits inside colored ornamental frames. There are nine designs, including Madoka and Homura.
Individual keyholders cost ¥880 and are supplied at random, so you cannot choose the character. The ¥7,150 complete set includes all nine designs.

The witches get a place on the writing desk
The ¥5,500 Witch Date Stamp & Letter Set focuses on the Sweets Witch and Nutcracker Witch. It includes a physical date stamp, letter paper and envelopes. The product preview pairs a green-topped stamp with dark illustrated envelopes and letter paper whose pale writing area sits within a decorative border.
The separate Witch Tote Bag costs ¥3,850. Its black background sets off a multicolored front print divided into triangular panels containing witch imagery, silhouettes and symbols.

Orders run through March, but stock may go sooner
The collection is available only through Japan Post Online Shop, with the order period running through March 31, 2027. Sales end when stock runs out, which can happen before shipping begins. Post office counters do not take orders.
Shipping is scheduled to start on November 27, 2026, except for the complete frame-stamp set, which is scheduled to start on December 23. These are dispatch start dates, not arrival dates.
All listed prices include tax; shipping is extra. Orders placed after shipping begins may still take up to about two weeks to dispatch, so allow for that wait if you are ordering for a particular occasion.
