Pokémon UNITE is scheduled to end service on March 23, 2027, at 00:00 UTC across Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. Battles remain available until then, but players will no longer be able to log in or participate in battles once service ends.
Gem sales and membership renewals have already stopped
Aeos gem sales, new UNITE Club memberships and automatic membership renewals stopped on October 27, 2026, at 05:00 UTC. Previously purchased gems can still be used until service ends.
Existing UNITE Club benefits last only until each member’s current paid period expires. They do not automatically extend through the March shutdown.
Snackgirls react
Red: I’d like to get friends together for a few last matches. I wouldn’t leave that invitation until the final week.
Nea: I’d want those records on a device I plan to keep. It would be nice to revisit them when I miss the game.
Finish the Library download before shutdown
An update scheduled for November 12, 2026, will add a Library feature and a special event offering previously released Unite licenses and Holowear.
The Library will let players view certain records and in-game content after service ends. To use it afterward, players must complete the required data download before March 23, 2027, at 00:00 UTC.
Library data generally cannot be transferred to a new device, so the device chosen for the download matters. Support for the Library will not be available after service ends.
Aeos Crown 2027 Tokyo is still planned
Aeos Crown 2027 Tokyo remains planned, with qualifiers scheduled to begin on December 5, 2026.
The official content guidelines will no longer be published or maintained after service ends.
