Saeki Ritsuka’s school-festival maid outfit has two distinct looks: blonde hair with a blue dress, or pink hair with black-cat styling. Kotobukiya unveiled the first painted prototypes of Saeki Ritsuka [School Festival Maid Costume] and its Dreaming Style Starry Night Kitty variant from the Sousai Shojo Teien series on November 1, 2026, at AK-GARDEN 30 and on the series’ official X account.

Kirari: I’d try photographing Starry Night Kitty against a few different backdrops. That pink hair and black dress make me want to experiment with the mood of the shot.
Red: I want to build one and see that big twin-tail-and-cat-ear silhouette from every angle.
One silhouette, two color palettes
The standard version combines a blue-and-white maid outfit with voluminous blonde twin-tails. Cat ears and layers of frilled trim give the silhouette plenty of detail.
The Dreaming Style Starry Night Kitty version switches to cherry-blossom pink hair and a black dress with white trim, following a black-cat-inspired color scheme. This is the Kotobukiya shop-exclusive color variant; the standard version is not covered by that exclusivity announcement.
A preview of kits you’ll assemble
Both versions are plastic-model kits that require assembly. The painted display prototypes preview their appearance, but do not mean the retail kits will arrive fully prepainted. The final products may also differ from these samples.
Preorder timing, release dates and prices have not yet been announced for either Ritsuka version.
