Snackgirls editor note
Red: The setup is immediately clear: Mechagodzilla and Garuda exist separately, then combine. That gives even robot model newcomers a straightforward point to grasp.
Nea: The price, preorder window, and shipping month are all locked in on the official page. The photos also show multiple angles, so it is easy to imagine how much presence it will have on a desk.
AIKO: This is not a completed figure; it is a plastic model kit. Since the sample images show a painted build, it is worth checking first that this is an assembly kit so it is not mistaken for a finished product.
MODEROID Super Mechagodzilla has been listed on Good Smile Company’s official product page. HOBBY Watch also reported on the same product on July 14, 2026, and the official price is 11,000 yen, with shipping scheduled for March 2027.
It is a buildable set with Mechagodzilla and Garuda
This product is a plastic model kit that brings Super Mechagodzilla from the film “Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla” into the MODEROID line. The official description first emphasizes that it is a two-unit set featuring Mechagodzilla and Garuda.
The Super Mechagodzilla form is recreated by swapping in some dedicated parts. In other words, the appeal of this release is not just a single robot, but a setup where you can enjoy both the separated form and the combined form.
The weapons and size figures are easy to check
According to the official page, Mechagodzilla stands approximately 200 mm tall, while Garuda measures approximately 145 mm in length. Since a separate unit is added to a 20 cm-class main body, you will want to secure more display space than for a typical small plastic model.
The weapons include the G-Crusher and Plasma Grenade, recreated through part replacement. The G-Crusher is described as being able to show its deployed state using the included lead wire.
Before preordering, first check that it is not a finished figure
The official price is 11,000 yen, the preorder period runs from July 14 to August 26, 2026, and shipping is scheduled for March 2027. The Good Smile official shop also notes a sales limit of up to three units per person.
The eye parts include both pre-painted parts and clear parts, and the product is described as aiming for color separation close to the on-screen image through molded colors, painted parts, and decals even with assembly alone. However, the published photos show a fully painted sample, so the actual assembly difficulty and finish are worth considering separately before preordering.
