Fitbit Air Pokémon Sleep Edition Arrives September 15

Google announced the Fitbit Air Special Edition Pokémon Sleep on August 27, 2026. It connects Fitbit Air sleep tracking through Google Health with the Pokémon Sleep app, giving users another way to tie a regular sleep routine to in-game progress.

The band comes in a Sleepy Blue colorway and carries a custom silk-print label of Sleeping Pikachu on the strap.

Each purchase includes a three-month Google Health Premium trial. According to Google’s announcement, preorders opened online and in stores at Google Store and Target on August 27, with shipping set to begin September 15.

How sleep data reaches Pokémon Sleep

On Android, users link Google Health to Health Connect. On iOS, they connect it to Apple Health. Google Health can then be paired with Pokémon Sleep.

Once setup is complete, sleep duration and sleep-stage data sync to Pokémon Sleep each morning. Synced sleep duration contributes to Sleep Score, Drowsy Power, Snorlax Strength, Pokémon encounters, sleep-style discoveries and helper Pokémon progression.

Compatibility and availability

The official availability is limited to the US and Japan, and the product is intended for ages 13 and older. Pokémon Sleep is available through the App Store and Google Play. Check the appropriate regional store page before ordering.

Fitbit Air works with most phones running Android 11 or later and iPhones running iOS 16.4 or later. A Google Account and the Google Health app are required. Sleep-tracking results are wellness guidance and must not be used to diagnose or treat a medical condition.
