beyerdynamic introduced the AVENTHO Y at IFA 2026, bringing active noise cancellation and more than 90 hours of battery life to a wireless over-ear design. Its replaceable battery and ear cushions also give beginners practical details to consider beyond sound descriptions.
Built for longer use
The battery supports fast charging and can be replaced by the user. The magnetic ear cushions are interchangeable, while aluminium sliders and stainless steel hinges reinforce the focus on longevity. The closed-back, foldable headphones use 45 mm dynamic drivers and weigh 316 grams.
Wireless features and codec support
Bluetooth 6.0 Multipoint allows connections with more than one device, and Google Fast Pair is included for compatible hardware. The verified codec list covers SBC and AAC. The headphones also offer Transparency Mode, personalized sound through the beyerdynamic app, USB-C charging and a wireless range of up to 20 meters.
Pricing and availability
The AVENTHO Y is priced at $150, €149 or £129 depending on the market. Korean and Japanese domestic prices and release dates had not been confirmed at the time of writing. Four colors appear on the global product page: Liquid Black, Blue Fusion, Soft Jade and Peach Blush.
