PlayStation’s September 3 State of Play recap gathers more than 30 games from two shows in one place. The broad lineup makes it easier to catch up on the new reveals, gameplay demonstrations, trailers, and release dates without tracking every announcement separately.
From game debuts to a limited-edition controller
The recap includes Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Fate/Extra Record, Until Dawn 2, Monster Hunter Ascendance, and Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World. Hardware accessories also appear in the lineup through the Grand Theft Auto VI Limited-Edition DualSense Wireless Controllers.
Two major releases now have firm dates
Several announcements lead to dedicated PlayStation Blog developer posts. Final Fantasy VII Revelation is scheduled to launch on PS5 on April 8, 2027, while Fate/Extra Record is set for a worldwide PS5 and PS4 release on January 28, 2027.
