Snackgirls react
AIKO — Putting storage, compute, and control in one local hub is satisfyingly tidy. The hub gets both the data and the chores—an efficient division of labor.
Nea — Keeping footage at home and retaining recording and understanding during an outage sounds reassuring. I'd still watch how the crowdfunding timing and limited shipping map shape who can actually get one.
UGREEN says HomeAgent keeps AI processing and private footage, photos, and home data on a local hub instead of sending them to cloud storage. The HA100 is not a finished retail product available for immediate delivery: the $50 reservation is only a deposit for access to the Super Early Bird reward link, while reward selection and the final pledge must be completed on Kickstarter using the same email address.
One hub takes on three jobs
The HA100 combines 26 TOPS of local AI performance with 16GB of DDR5 memory and an M.2 NVMe SSD slot dedicated to AI models. It can generate camera-event summaries, search footage by keyword, and recognize people, vehicles, pets, and packages.
HomeAgent also coordinates supported devices through the Uliya voice assistant. UGREEN lists connections with its cameras, speakers, and smart frames as well as compatible third-party devices through open protocols; 9to5Google and Club386 report Matter support.

What remains available when the internet drops
UGREEN says local recording and understanding can continue when the internet is down. That offline claim applies to those local functions rather than every feature without exception.
The company also says local storage and the described core functions carry no recurring cloud-storage fee or subscription. This is not a promise that every future service or accessory will always be free.

Kickstarter comes before shipping
Club386 reports that the Kickstarter campaign is scheduled for October 27, 2026. UGREEN lists the HA100 at a $1,799 MSRP and offers a $899 Super Early Bird reward, with shipping targeted for late January 2027 after the campaign ends. Actual delivery can vary by region, destination, and logistics.
The current shipping list covers the United States, Canada, most EU countries, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore. South Korea and Japan are not included.
