Hot Toys’ Avengers: Doomsday Thor Lights Up Mjolnir and Stormbreaker

Hot Toys has listed Thor from Avengers: Doomsday in its Movie Masterpiece range, the company’s high-end 1/6-scale articulated figure line. Both the reconstructed, cracked Mjolnir and Stormbreaker light up, while illuminated armor and attachable lightning parts carry the effect across the roughly 32 cm figure.

Lightning Runs From the Armor to Both Weapons

Six circular LED plates are built into Thor’s black Asgardian armor. Translucent lightning effects can be attached to the armor, weapons and forearms, giving the 30-plus articulation points plenty to work with in action poses. The removable red cape also contains internal wire, allowing its shape to follow the movement of the figure.

A New Likeness Beneath the Short Brown Hair

The newly sculpted head is based on Chris Hemsworth and features rolling eyes with a UV-reflective treatment. Short brown hair is sculpted rather than rooted, while the skin and beard details are finished by hand.

The Deluxe Base Puts a Sentinel Underfoot

Standard edition MM#918 includes a logo stand. Deluxe edition MM#919 replaces it with a light-up diorama base built around a destroyed Sentinel head, plus three effects for the base and four for the figure. In Japan, the tax-included standard price is ¥50,000, with a ¥45,000 preorder price; the deluxe is ¥66,000, or ¥59,500 on preorder. Both editions are listed for around December 2027.
