- First open-ear model in Noise’s premium Master Series, with Sound by Bose acoustic tuning
- Pre-launch manual: 4g per clip, 10mm driver, Bluetooth 5.4 and IPX5
- Late-September 2026 sales planned; exact pricing and market-by-market availability pending

Following its IFA Berlin 2026 unveiling, Noise Master Buds Open is headed for a planned late-September 2026 launch. It is the first open-ear model in Noise’s premium Master Series and the first Noise open-ear product to carry Sound by Bose, while a public pre-launch manual lists each C-shaped clip at just 4g.

What the Bose name covers
Sound by Bose refers to acoustic tuning developed in collaboration with Bose. It does not establish Bose-branded drivers or Bose OpenAudio hardware, nor does it make Master Buds Open equivalent to Bose Ultra Open Earbuds.
The C-shaped, clip-on design leaves the ear canal unsealed, allowing more surrounding sound to remain audible while music is playing.

What the pre-launch manual lists
The public manual tied to FCC ID 2BKRS-BUDSOPEN01 pairs the 4g-per-clip weight with a 10mm driver, Bluetooth 5.4 and a stated 10m wireless range. It lists six hours per charge and 22 hours in total with the case, alongside USB-C case charging, a 52g case, one-hour charging for the clips and up to 60 minutes for the case.
It also includes IPX5 water resistance for the clips, battery display through the Noise Audio app, Spatial Audio and Audio Boost controls. IPX5 does not cover submersion, and the manual does not give the charging case the same rating. Because this is pre-launch documentation, final commercial specifications may change.
The open-ear tradeoff is still the question
An unsealed fit keeps more outside sound audible, but launch material cannot answer how much bass weight the clips deliver, how much sound they leak, how securely they fit different ears or how they perform in loud places. Those points need independent testing.
Public images show black, bronze and gold-toned finishes, though official shade names have not been published. Exact retail pricing and market-by-market availability, including launch timing for South Korea and Japan, have not been announced. Sales are initially planned through Noise’s own channels and retail and e-commerce outlets.
Snackgirls react
Kirari A 4g C-shaped clip turns the earbud into part of the look. I’d want to photograph how the black, bronze and gold-toned finishes catch the light.
Nea Keeping the ear canal open sounds useful, but I’d wait to learn how bass, leakage and fit hold up in noisy places—and what it will cost or when it will reach each market.
