Kirari: The glossy eyes and rounded mouth would be the first details I frame in a room photo. That 60cm silhouette will be difficult to miss.
Red: I want to pose those jointed legs like Pochita is ready to dash across the floor. That would be my first interaction before finding a display spot.
MegaHouse’s LIFE SIZE DOLL brings Pochita from the TV anime Chainsaw Man to 1/1 scale at approximately 600mm long. Touching its back prompts barks and engine audio from a built-in sound unit, giving the life-size character five different responses.
Press the back for five Pochita sounds
Touching or pressing the doll’s back activates Pochita’s bark, a growl-like voice and engine sounds. Its limb joints can be adjusted to different angles, while the tail is designed to be pulled as another play feature.
Glossy eyes at 1/1 scale
The design reproduces the rounded mouth at the base of the chainsaw blade and Pochita’s large glossy eyes. The retailer lists polyester and related materials. The package contains one doll body with the five-sound unit and instructions; three AAA batteries are required and sold separately.
Preorders open at 1 p.m. on September 11
The doll costs ¥29,150 including tax and will be available to reserve through Premium Bandai, AmiAmi and Animate. Animate lists November 1 as its reservation deadline, while other reports give the broader window of early November. Shipment is scheduled for late February 2027, with Animate expecting deliveries around early March.
