2026 Seongnam CITY Battle Tournament: overnight lines don’t count

The 2026 Seongnam CITY Battle Tournament takes place at Hyundai Department Store Pangyo on September 12 as a physical Pokémon Card Game event. A line that forms on its own will not be treated as the mini store’s official queue. The advance reservation system may open only if conditions at the venue require a queue, and only at the announced place and time.

Two possible registration windows, with a three-hour shutdown

The official notice lists two possible advance waiting-registration windows: 8:30 p.m. Friday, September 11 to 1:30 a.m. Saturday, and 5:00 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday. From 1:30 to 5:00 a.m., the area is controlled for safety, so neither on-site waiting nor the advance reservation system operates.

Register downstairs, enter on the 10th floor

The advance waiting-registration point is in front of All That Coffee in the department store’s basement food hall. The mini-store entrance is opposite the Sky Garden on the 10th floor, with entry on September 12 listed from 10:30 a.m. until the event ends.

After the mini store opens, guests are called in registration order. If a called guest does not enter within five minutes, staff move to the next turn. Visitors should follow the safety staff’s directions while moving through the venue.

Qualifier players need a printed deck list

The on-site qualifier is held in the 10th-floor Topaz Hall. Player check-in and deck-list submission run from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m., followed by the start of Swiss rounds at 11:00 a.m. Capacity is limited to 64 players.

Players must bring a legal 60-card deck with sleeves, battle accessories, spare sleeves, and a printed deck list in one of the designated formats. The venue does not provide or print deck-list forms. Online booking is scheduled through 11:59 p.m. on September 11 but may close early; same-day entry is first-come, first-served only if seats remain. Card-shop qualifier winners who have already advanced to the finals cannot enter this qualifier.
