SNACK Summary in 3 Lines

Nea — Keeping one Siri conversation going between an iPhone and a Mac sounds genuinely useful. For Korean and Japanese, though, October is the date worth marking.

AIKO — Daily limits make server-powered intelligence sound appropriately finite. Paid expanded access is coming later, while its price and date remain undefined variables.

Apple began rolling out iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, visionOS 27, and tvOS 27 on September 14. Siri AI is arriving more gradually: the beta starts in English, while Korean and Japanese support is scheduled for October.

What changes when Siri follows the conversation

Apple says Siri AI can draw on personal context from messages, emails, and photos, understand what is onscreen, use broader web knowledge, handle follow-up questions, and perform more actions across system apps.

A dedicated Siri app privately syncs conversation history through iCloud across supported iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro products. That continuity could make moving between devices less disruptive, provided the devices and requested features meet Apple’s compatibility rules.

Safari watches for restocks and sorts the tab pile

Safari can organize tabs automatically by topic, while Notify Me can alert users when a website changes, including product restocks and price drops. Users can also create custom Safari extensions by describing what they want them to do.

Apple reports that apps can launch up to 30 percent faster on iPhone and iPad, photos can load up to 70 percent faster after capture, and AirDrop transfers can be up to 80 percent faster. Those figures come from Apple’s tests under stated configurations and should not be treated as guaranteed results on every device.

Hardware, regional access, and daily limits still apply

Apple Intelligence is supported on iPhone 16 models or later, iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, iPad mini with A17 Pro, iPads with M1 or later, MacBook Neo with A18 Pro, Macs with M1 or later, Apple Vision Pro, and supported recent Apple Watch models paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone. Individual features may require a narrower set of hardware.

Siri AI is initially unavailable on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch in the EU. In China, Siri AI and other new Apple Intelligence features remain unavailable while Apple works through regulatory requirements. Certain server-model features also have daily usage limits, and Apple plans to offer expanded access for a fee later, though it has not announced a price or date.
