Snackgirls react
Red: I’d spend the opening rounds chasing points, then save my nerve for that last duel. I want to feel how quickly the match changes when only two players remain.
Nea: Borrowing another character’s normal technique is the detail that caught me. I’d like to see which unlikely combinations make the cooperative builds click.

Shueisha Games has moved Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton from 2026 to 2027, saying the team needs more time to deliver the game in a better form. Fans will still get a concrete look this week through the world’s first public playtest, running at Tokyo Game Show 2026 from September 17 through September 21.
Eight players narrow down to one winner
The TGS build supports an online battle-royale match for up to eight players, with everyone competing for points. The top two advance to a final one-versus-one duel, and its winner takes the match. The test will be available at the Shueisha Games booth in Hall 5, booth 05-C10. Character tuning and play feel are still being adjusted, so this is not a final balance showcase.
Level-ups can draw from other characters
The cooperative build system adapts Vampire Survivors-style construction to the Jujutsu Kaisen cast. When leveling up, players can strengthen their controlled character’s normal techniques or incorporate normal techniques belonging to other characters, opening room for mixed builds during a match.
Eight bosses appear in pixel-art motion
The second official trailer shows attacks from playable characters alongside pixel-art motion for Junpei Yoshino, Jogo, Mahito, Uraume, Eso, Toji Fushiguro, Kenjaku, and Naoya Zenin. The new trailer can be watched below.
An exact 2027 release date has not been announced. The listed platforms remain Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
