Nea: A young Bond still finding his place in MI6 is the detail I keep coming back to. I’m curious how that inexperience shapes his missions.
Red: March feels far away, so I’d head straight for the TGS demo. I want to see how Bond moves once the action starts.

IO Interactive has moved 007 First Light on Nintendo Switch 2 from its planned summer 2026 window to March 2027. The delay applies only to the Switch 2 version, with the additional development time going toward performance polish. An exact date in March has not yet been announced.
The gamescom demo heads to Tokyo
Players at Tokyo Game Show this week will be able to try the same demo previously shown at gamescom. It offers a nearer look at the game while the new Switch 2 release date remains pending, though IO Interactive has not described the demo as the final Switch 2 build.
Bond at the beginning of his MI6 career
Developed and published by IO Interactive, 007 First Light is a narrative action-adventure following Bond as a young MI6 recruit. The setting places him near the start of his career rather than presenting the established agent from the outset.
