Snow Miku x AMP+ puts 2014 magic and 2015 winter flora in full color

Two Snow Miku designs have stepped out of their illustrations and into full color. Taito has revealed painted prototypes of the 2014 and 2015 versions for its third and fourth Snow Miku x AMP+ projects, showing how differently a magical girl and a winter fairy can take shape as figures.

Snow Miku 2014 strikes a magical-girl pose

The third project draws on a new illustration of Snow Miku 2014 by Fumi. Its magical-girl theme comes through in an energetic pose, giving the established 2014 version a lively three-dimensional interpretation.

A winter fairy emerges from the 2015 motif

Zoirun created the new illustration behind the fourth project, Snow Miku 2015. Inspired by plants associated with Hokkaido’s winter, the figure takes on fairy-like styling and carries a parasol shaped like a butterbur leaf—an accessory that immediately separates its silhouette from the 2014 version.

Where AMP+ fits in Taito’s figure line

Prize figures form their own figure category, and AMP+ is Taito’s upper-tier prize-figure brand developed with noted artists. These painted prototypes reveal the colors, poses and accessory treatment, but no release timing, price, dimensions, materials or deployment locations have been announced.
