Apex Legends turns Wildcard into a Street Fighter 6 showdown

Apex Legends is bringing Street Fighter 6 into the match itself. From September 22 through October 13, 2026, Wildcard moves to a remixed Olympus where players can use four Fighter Gear kits based on Ryu, Chun-Li, Akuma, and Dhalsim.

Fighter Form changes the camera and the combat

Each kit has its own passive, tactical, and ultimate ability. Collecting tokens fills a Fight Gauge, and activating Fighter Form switches the action to a third-person camera while strengthening melee attacks, enabling blocks, and adding damage resistance and speed. The form also unlocks the chosen kit’s tactical and ultimate moves.

The last squad needs a final knockout

The Showdown round gives every remaining player an infinite Fight Gauge. Downed or respawning fighters return to the arena immediately, so the match continues until one squad secures the final knockout. These abilities are tied to the event experience rather than permanent additions outside it.

Cosmetics and linked-account rewards

The collaboration also adds eight Iconic Legend skins, eight Legendary weapon skins, and a Hadoken Mythic Universal Melee cosmetic. Twitch Drops are available from September 22–29 after 60 minutes of any Apex Legends stream, while the Discord Quest runs through October 12 and requires 15 minutes of play. Both reward routes require linked accounts.
