SNACK: 3-line summary
- KONAMI has announced a Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse demo featuring the opening chapter.
- You can carry your demo save into the full game on the same platform and account; Korean is among the supported languages.
- The European English-language page lists October 1, while Japan’s demo release date and time will be announced later.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will let you try its opening chapter without leaving that progress behind when you move to the full game. Start the demo on the platform and account you plan to use for the full release if you want to continue from your save.

Keep your demo save for the full game
Save transfer requires the demo and full game to use the same platform and account. Keep the demo save data, and update the full game to the latest version before transferring your progress.
KONAMI also notes that some features or content may be restricted in the demo.

Snackgirls react
Red: I want to jump into those opening fights before launch. If the combat clicks, I might finish the chapter while I’m still telling myself I’m just testing the controls!
Nea: I tend to get attached to my first save. I’d like to keep building on the one I start in the demo when I move to the full game.
Four platforms, with Switch listed at 30 fps
The demo is listed for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and Steam. Korean is included among the supported languages.
KONAMI lists the frame rate as 30 fps on Nintendo Switch and 60 fps on the other platforms.

October 1 is the European English-language listing
The European English-language demo page gives October 1 as the release date. The Japanese page says its release date and time will be announced later.
Check the official announcement for your region before planning around the October 1 listing.
