Hot Toys’ new Aliens Power Loader stands about 52 cm tall—a substantial display piece even at 1/6 scale. The Movie Masterpiece release revisits Ripley and the machine after about 20 years, offering a combined set as well as a standalone loader.

A 52 cm loader with an opening roll cage and moving claws
The Power Loader measures about 52 cm high, 32 cm wide and 37 cm deep. Those dimensions are worth measuring out on a shelf before reserving it.
It has at least 18 points of articulation, with movable arms, legs and claws. The roll cage opens, the joystick slides, and LEDs illuminate both the top warning lamp and the cage interior.
Ripley gets movable eyes—and the missing-shoe detail
The combined set adds an approximately 30 cm Ellen Ripley figure with at least 18 points of articulation. Its new head sculpt features an officially licensed Sigourney Weaver likeness and movable eyes, while a silicone upper body keeps the exposed shoulders and arms seamless.
Her outfit carries battle damage. For the lost-shoe scene, the right foot can be swapped to a dark-gray sock—a small detail that ties the figure to a specific moment in the confrontation.
Two packages, with a deposit required for either
Both releases are planned for around December 2027, with reservations open at Toy Sapiens, the official Japanese store. Tax-inclusive list and reservation prices are:
- MM#923 — Ellen Ripley & Power Loader (2.0): ¥92,000 list price; ¥83,000 reservation price. Includes Ripley and the Power Loader.
- MM#924 — Power Loader: ¥68,000 list price; ¥61,500 reservation price. Includes the machine only, without Ripley.
The standalone loader can also seat the separately sold Movie Masterpiece Ellen Ripley (2.0), secured with the cockpit harness. The combined set is an option for buying both together, not the only way to display Ripley at the controls.
Toy Sapiens requires a reservation deposit of 30% of the product price for either item. The deposit can be paid only by credit card, convenience-store payment or bank payment, and the selected deposit payment method cannot be changed.
