Which playtime counts?
Applicants need a Japan-registered Sony account that has used PlayStation online services and recorded at least 60 total gameplay hours on PS4 or PS5 between September 27, 2024 and September 27, 2026 at 23:59 JST. Those hours must have been logged while signed in with the Sony account used to apply; play after the cutoff cannot be added retroactively.
The account’s sign-in ID must also be unified with a My Sony ID. Applications are limited to one PS5 Pro per Sony account.
Apply by October 7, then watch your email
Applications close October 7, 2026 at 23:59 JST. If eligible applications exceed the planned stock, Sony will use a lottery. Results will be sent gradually from around October 26 to the email address registered with the Sony account.
Those selected must complete their online Sony Store purchase by November 2, 2026 at 11:59 JST. Sony does not give a guaranteed arrival date.
