82MAJOR’s Nam Seongmo and Park Seokjoon are lending their voices to EBS’s upcoming Idols Read Literature from Textbooks audio class. Their selections move from a love that defies death to the environmental questions behind a city’s glittering lights.

A supernatural romance and a modern city’s lights
Nam Seongmo reads Kim Si-seup’s 이생규장전, a classical supernatural tale from the collection 금오신화. It follows a love that withstands war and reaches beyond death.
Park Seokjoon reads Lee Moon-jae’s modern poem 광화문, 겨울, 불꽃, 나무 (Gwanghwamun, Winter, Flames, Trees). Its attention to decorative lights on Gwanghwamun’s trees opens up questions about environmental harm and the natural world beneath the spectacle.

Listen on TogetherSchool from October 7
The readings will be available free to anyone on the TogetherSchool (함께학교) website and dedicated app from Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 9 a.m. KST. EBS also provides explanations of the works and their key learning concepts, giving listeners a way to explore the texts alongside the readings.
Snackgirls react
Kirari: I’m curious how their stage voices will sound in quiet narration. I’d like to hear the small shifts in tone when the words have all the attention.
Nea: The lovers in 이생규장전 are the ones I’m curious about. A bond that reaches beyond death makes me want to read the story as well as hear it.
