Kotobukiya opened preorders for its Makina plastic model kit from Milky☆Subway: The Galactic Limited Express on October 6, 2026. The cyborg’s head-opening configuration is recreated by swapping parts, with her familiar twin tails and jacket also making the jump to model form.

Snackgirls react
Kirari: I’d start with a shot that shows off the twin tails and jacket, then try a different face piece. I want to see how much the expression changes the photo.
Red: I’d reach for the head replacement parts first. I want to see exactly how the opened-up shape comes together before trying the wrist pose.
Face choices and replacement-part poses
The kit includes three printed monitor-style face pieces and one unprinted face, plus decals for additional expressions and clothing markings. A blackout face is also included.
The wrist-deployment pose uses replacement arm parts. For other poses, there is a control-device key and a mugshot identification board, each with a dedicated holding wrist, plus a badge-holding hand.
Assembly is required, and the product photos show assembled and painted samples. The non-scale model stands approximately 165 mm tall.

An April release and a shop-specific base bonus
The Japanese release is scheduled for April 2027, priced at ¥9,900 including tax.
If you want the original Flying Base bonus, it comes with preorders or purchases through Kotobukiya Shop and Kotobukiya Online Shop. It is a retailer-specific offer, not a bonus included by every seller.
