No Man’s Sky arrives on iOS on October 28, 2026, and you won’t need the latest hardware to get started: support reaches back to iPhone 11 and the third-generation iPad Air. Hello Games is bringing the full universe to mobile, but this version does not support multiplayer.

Snackgirls react
Red: That universe under my thumbs? I want to give the rebuilt touch controls a proper try.
Nea: COSMOS is what I’d want to spend time with first. A quiet solo wander through that universe sounds rather inviting.
Settlements start at iPhone 15 Pro
Planetary settlements are supported on iPhone 15 Pro and newer, so that feature will not be available on every supported iPhone. The announcement does not specify which iPads support settlements.
COSMOS and Voyagers come along
The iOS release includes more than 40 major updates, including the recent COSMOS update and the earlier Voyagers update.
Hello Games has rebuilt the touch controls. Controllers and TV casting are also supported, while iPad players can use a mouse and keyboard.
The download is under 4GB, with the universe generated on the device at runtime.
Free to try when it launches
App Store preorders are live now. If you want to try No Man’s Sky on your supported iPhone or iPad before committing, it will be free to try at launch.
