Snackgirls react
Kirari: I’d want to photograph the finished model from a low side angle. That long, narrow silhouette is the detail I’d try to bring out.
Red: I’m tempted to build Tanikaze. I’d want to compare its 1943 configuration with the two 1944 options before settling on a ship.
Choose the ship—and the period it depicts
Nowaki is the 15th ship of the Kagero class. The kit also offers two sister-ship builds, with these specific configurations:
- Nowaki: June 1944, during the Battle of the Philippine Sea.
- Hamakaze: June 1944, during the same battle.
- Tanikaze: September 1943, with the Tei No. 1 Transport Unit.
These are alternative builds for a single model, not a three-model set. You choose one configuration during assembly.

347.5 mm long and 33 mm wide
