The tube and output amps do different jobs
A DAC turns digital audio into an analog signal, then the Nutube preamp amplifies that signal’s voltage. Separate left- and right-channel solid-state Class A/B amplifiers supply the drive for the 40mm titanium-coated Mylar drivers. The tube handles preamplification; it does not replace the output amplifiers.
EQ that stays with the headphones
The TH2 weighs 424g and includes active noise cancellation and transparency modes. Connections cover Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC, AAC and LDAC, USB-C digital audio, and a 3.5mm analog input. LDAC supports up to 24-bit/96kHz with compatible Android sources.
The écoute Tuning App provides eight-band parametric EQ and saves adjustments to the headphones’ firmware. Those settings carry across inputs and remain after powering the headphones off and on.
Presale orders are paid in full
The official store lists a US$899 presale price and a US$999 regular price. Reservations are charged in full at checkout, and the presale price ends once units are in stock, with no fixed closing date listed.
