SNACK: 3-line summary
- Google is adding a small-business hub, marketing and finance skills, and new app connections to Gemini.
- Saved visual styles let owners create campaign assets without repeatedly uploading the same brand guidelines.
- The tools will begin rolling out globally in the coming days for all Gemini app users, rather than reaching every account at once.
Small-business owners will be able to reuse a brand’s visual style in Gemini without uploading the same guidelines for each request. Google announced the feature on October 20 as part of new tools for branding, customer insights and financial work.

Snackgirls react
AIKO: I’d like to see how saved style rules carry into a very different brief. Repeating the instructions is the least interesting part of any experiment.
Kirari: I’d love to line up a shop banner and a new-product post with the same colors and textures. That little family resemblance is what I’d look for.
A hub for everyday business tasks
The new business landing page brings together tasks such as building a brand, analyzing finances, understanding customers and growing a business. In Google’s demonstration, the customer section offers starting points for exploring complaints and getting help replying to recent reviews.
Google is also making it easier to connect Gemini to Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Google Workspace. Third-party connections named in the announcement include Canva, Shopify and Xero.

Keep a visual style from one request to the next
Owners can define their brand’s visual style by supplying a website, brand kit, fonts or color palettes. Gemini retains that style for later requests, removing the need to upload the same guidance repeatedly.
Paired with Nano Banana 2.1, which Google describes as its latest image-generation model, the feature can generate visual assets for product launches and ongoing marketing campaigns.

Turn receipts and spreadsheets into something easier to explore
The finance skill can turn spreadsheets, receipts and purchase records into financial graphics and interactive models. It also offers financial insights in natural language, giving owners another way to explore their business figures.
The business landing page, marketing and finance skills, and new connected apps will begin rolling out globally over the coming days for all Gemini app users. Availability will be gradual, and the announcement does not give a language-by-language schedule.
