Snackgirls react
Kirari: The gold artwork and orange-and-white Matsuinu are such a fun pairing! I’d want a photo with those character panels—the little dog might steal the shot.
Nea: I’d probably linger over the character design art. I want to see which details give Matsuken and Matsuinu their personalities.
Character art, photo panels and a place to vent
The short series Matsuken Anime, featuring Ken Matsudaira, began streaming on YouTube in August 2026. Its first popup will display introduction panels and character design art, with standing panels of Matsuken and his dog mascot Matsuinu forming a photo spot.
The participatory area called 成敗奉納所 plays on the anime’s “seibai,” or punishment, theme. Visitors can write something they want to “deal with” on an ema-style card and leave it there—a lighthearted outlet for daily annoyances.
Three-part charms or an amulet-style key holder
The three-part acrylic key holder comes in three designs and costs ¥1,100. An amulet-style acrylic key holder comes in one design for ¥880. Both prices include tax.
The merchandise artwork features blue-haired Matsuken in a yellow kimono and the orange-and-white Matsuinu mascot. Acrylic stands, clear files and a face-pattern towel are also among the listed goods.

One fortune slip per qualifying transaction
Purchases totaling at least ¥2,000 including tax qualify for one draw of a special 成敗おみくじ, a seibai-themed fortune slip. There are five designs, distributed at random.
The bonus is limited to one slip per transaction, regardless of how far the purchase total exceeds the threshold. Distribution ends when supplies run out.

October 30–November 8 at Shibuya MODI
The popup runs from October 30 to November 8, 2026, with opening hours of 11:00–19:00. The venue is Tokyo Anime Center in DNP PLAZA SHIBUYA, on the second floor of Shibuya MODI at 1-21-3 Jinnan, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
Admission is free. If many visitors are waiting, the venue may use a lottery to determine entry order or restrict admission, so allow for a possible wait.
