Bandai Spirits’ 30 Minutes Fantasy Meteoric Iron Samurai and Class Up Armor (Meteoric Iron Shogun) went on sale in Japan on October 24, 2026. The gold-accented Shogun look comes from fitting the separately sold armor set to the Samurai kit.

Snackgirls react
Kirari: I’d want to photograph those gold accents first. A low angle could really show off the helmet and broad shoulder armor.
Red: I want to see how far I can turn the waist while keeping both hands on the sword. Then I’d swap the armor and try the same stance again.
Room for a two-handed sword stance
The Samurai’s shoulder and waist armor attach through joints on the back, allowing movement for a two-handed sword stance. A sliding waist joint works with the chest, torso and waist articulation to support natural poses. Two helmet forehead parts offer a choice of crest or no crest.
The Shogun armor adds gold decoration to the helmet and chest, with further accents at the wrists and knees. Both the Samurai’s and Shogun set’s tachi blades can be placed inside their sheaths, giving the assembled model a sheathed-sword option alongside its action poses.

Start with the Samurai if you need the body
In Japan, the Samurai costs ¥2,420 including tax. It includes the silhouette body, armor and one tachi, along with the head, hand and joint parts needed for the build.
The Shogun set costs ¥1,100 including tax and contains armor, one tachi and one wakizashi. There is no body in that box: recreating the Shogun shown in the product photos requires the separately sold Samurai. Both products are plastic model kits that require assembly.
