SNACK: 3-line summary
- Blue Archive’s Japanese service will move from Yostar to Nexon during maintenance in January 2027.

Blue Archive’s Japanese service will move from Yostar to Nexon during maintenance in January 2027. Existing players should link their game account to a Yostar ID now, then complete the advance transfer application when it opens in November. The handover affects Japan only; NEXON Games and the development structure will remain unchanged.

Your data carries over, but you need to apply
The transfer covers all game account data, including paid and free Pyroxenes, items and packages. That does not mean accounts will move automatically: players must complete the advance application before the January maintenance.
Guest accounts cannot transfer while they remain guest accounts. Anyone who does not complete the application will be unable to log in to the same game account after maintenance.
The application page and detailed instructions are not available yet. They are due in November, when the exact maintenance date will also be announced.
Snackgirls react
Red: Getting locked out over an unfinished application would sting. I’d get the Yostar ID link sorted before the transfer page opens.
Nea: I’d want to read up on the eligible students before choosing one with the ticket. I can already imagine that turning into a very long evening.
A new login—and a PC client change
After maintenance, Yostar ID will no longer work for Blue Archive. Players will need a NEXON member account instead. Existing NEXON member accounts can normally be reused, but accounts registered through X require a new NEXON member registration.
Each NEXON member account can be linked to one Blue Archive account.
The current Japanese PC client will remain usable only until maintenance begins. A replacement PC environment is being prepared, but its launch timing and details will be announced later. PC players should not assume uninterrupted access through the change.
Free recruitments and a selection ticket come later
After the publisher change, Nexon plans to roll out benefits including 100 free recruitments and one special anniversary-limited 3-star student selection ticket. The ticket lets players choose one student from a specified list, rather than the entire roster.
The 100 free recruitments are separate from the initiatives planned for the sixth-anniversary period. They are not available now; distribution and expiry details will be announced later.
