Phantom Blade Zero’s 1440p/60fps PC target assumes upscaling

SNACK: 3-line summary

  • Phantom Blade Zero launches October 29, 2026, with Korean interface and subtitle support on Steam.
  • Both PC performance targets assume upscaling, and both configurations require an SSD and 16 GB of RAM.
  • Preorders unlock two items early, but both can also be obtained through game progression.

Phantom Blade Zero arrives on October 29, 2026. If you’re getting a PC ready, there’s an important condition attached to its listed performance targets: both 1080p at 30fps and 1440p at 60fps assume upscaling is enabled.

Soul has 66 days to uncover a conspiracy

The story follows Soul, who is framed for his master’s murder. A heart wound leaves him with 66 days to live as he works to uncover a conspiracy in the martial arts world.

The Steam version supports a Korean interface and subtitles, but not Korean voice acting. Full voice acting is listed for English and Simplified Chinese.

Snackgirls react

Red: I want to get a feel for the timing—when to dodge, when to deflect, and when to keep a combo going.

Nea: The 66-day premise has me interested in Soul’s story. I’d like to find out how his master’s murder connects to the wider conspiracy.

What the two PC configurations require

Both configurations require 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, 16 GB of RAM, DirectX 12 and an SSD. The CPU and graphics requirements differ:

  • Minimum, targeting 1080p at 30fps with upscaling: Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6 GB or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8 GB.
  • Recommended, targeting 1440p at 60fps with upscaling: Intel Core i5-10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB.

Those frame rates are published targets, not a guarantee of performance on every PC.

The preorder items can also be earned in-game

Preordering grants early unlocks for the Treasure Basin accessory and the Legacy outfit. The accessory increases the Remnant Dust drop rate by 10%.

Both items are also obtainable through game progression, so a preorder isn’t required to get them. The offer unlocks those items early; it does not provide early access to the game.
